FF4EuroHPC project is widely promoted
17 May 2021
FF4EuroHPC partners continue with promoting project activities and Open Call funding opportunities to industrial companies and experts working in the HPC domain. The focus is being put on inspiring SMEs with benefits HPC can bring in their business.
Samir Ben Chaabane, Teratec, presented project activities and collaboration plan at CASTIEL Workshops with National Competence Centres (NCCs) on March 18th and at Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) on April 15th. Namely, NCCs and DIHs can support SMEs and help them to become more innovative by bringing novel technologies to their business. To inspire the community, NCCs and DIHs will communicate the success stories, produced by FF4EuroHPC experiment partners and share know-how, acquired by the SMEs by using HPC technology. NCCs can also help their SMEs to identify HPC experts and providers, useful for the realisation and success of their application experiments in the context of the FF4EuroHPC project.
Tomi Ilijaš, Arctur, presented the project and Open Call opportunity to participants at DIGI-SI Community Days 2021, held on April 15th. Ilijaš explained how companies can be supported in digital transformation. He used a success story presentation to show how even a micro company can realise its own vision and achieve a global breakthrough through the use of digital support environment services.
Bastian Koller, HLRS, inspired the worldwide HPC community by presenting the FF4EuroHPC project together with EuroCC and CASTIEL project at HPC Hyperion User Forum on May 12th. Video presentation can be found here.
